                                     In 1964 TAA acquired six new Boeing 727s-100s, its first pure jets.  Seen above in this
                                     shot from the Maurice Austin collection is the first one, "James Cook" at Essendon in 1964.
                                     Peter Gates' photo (below) shows it in its final livery a decade later (February 1974) at
                                     Canberra Airport.  It was acquired by International Air Leases in 1976 as N91891 and
                                     leased to Air Florida in the 1970s as N40AF.
